Following in my father's footsteps, becoming a professional photographer has been my lifelong ambition. As a child, I spent many hours at his studio in Tehran, Iran getting lost in the imagery and the emotions evoked from this visual art form. When I got older, I worked for my dad as a professional wedding photographer, but my bigger dream was to become a professional photographer in America, the land of glitz and glamour.

Another aspect that has led to my confidence is the fact that I am not a native-born American. I left my home, back in Iran, to make a new life with my husband in America. We have navigated through our experiences here in our adopted home, figuring out how life works outside our cultural upbringing and trying to melt into this big melting pot. We also traveled to faraway places, like Turkey, Dubai, and Qatar, where we learned about life and culture together.

Today, I am fulfilling my dream, working as a Commercial Photographer in the Kansas City metropolitan area and have won awards for my work at AAF- District 9, AAF-KC, and UCM.

My specialty is commercial product, beverage, and food photography. Passion, fueled by knowledge, is key to my success. Controlling details, such as lighting, composition, and color combinations produces visual impacts, sometimes subtle, sometimes bold in expression, but always evoking emotion. I am determined, tenacious, and the word failure is not in my vocabulary. As the mother of twelve-year-old triplets, my friends call me Wonder Woman, and that's how I feel. As the adage says, "bloom where you are planted." My whole life has contributed to my becoming the woman I am today, and I am grateful for the way my path has unfolded.
